Job Summary
The ORMB Tester will be responsible for testing and validating the functionality, performance, and security of the ORMB application. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in testing ORMB systems, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
- Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing of ORMB modules, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate defect tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Test Automation: Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and stability under various conditions.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed test reports, including test execution results, defect status, and overall quality metrics.
- Compliance: Ensure that testing processes comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on ORMB.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages.
- Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL for data validation.
- Knowledge of billing and revenue management processes.
- Certifications: ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Oracle database management.
- Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
